For all other waxing services (eyebrows, legs, arms, etc.), clients must be 16 years or older, or 13-15 years with parental consent and presence.
We reserve the right to request proof of age (valid photo ID) before providing services.
3. Payment Terms

Pricing
All prices are listed on our website and in-salon price list. Prices are subject to change without notice, but any changes will not affect appointments already booked at the time of the price change.
No Refunds After Service
Once a service has been completed, we do not offer refunds except in cases where the service was not performed as agreed or there was a clear error on our part. Any complaints must be raised immediately after the service while still at the salon.
4. Client Conduct & Behaviour
We are committed to providing a safe, professional, and respectful environment for our staff and clients.
Zero Tolerance for Harassment
We have a zero-tolerance policy for any form of harassment, inappropriate comments, sexual advances, or disrespectful behaviour toward our staff. Any client engaging in such behaviour will have their service terminated immediately without refund and will be permanently banned from our salon.
Intoxication
We reserve the right to refuse service to any client who appears to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs. No refunds will be provided in such cases.
Hygiene Standards
Clients are expected to arrive clean and freshly showered for their appointment, particularly for intimate waxing services. If our staff determines that hygiene standards are not met, we reserve the right to reschedule the appointment. No refund will be provided for rescheduled appointments due to inadequate hygiene.
Respectful Treatment of Staff
Abusive, threatening, or disrespectful behaviour toward our staff will not be tolerated. We reserve the right to refuse service and terminate appointments without refund if such behaviour occurs.
5. Health, Safety & Contraindications
Your safety is our top priority. Certain medical conditions, medications, and skin conditions may make waxing unsafe or unsuitable.
Client Responsibility to Disclose
You must inform us of any medical conditions, medications, allergies, or skin sensitivities before your appointment. Failure to disclose relevant information may result in adverse reactions, and we will not be held liable.
Contraindications (When NOT to Wax)
You should not receive waxing services if you have any of the following conditions:
- Skin Conditions
- Sunburn, windburn, or recent sun exposure (within 24 hours)

- Bruising or broken capillaries
Medical Conditions & Medications
- Currently taking or have taken Accutane (isotretinoin) within the last 6-12 months
- Using prescription retinoids (Retin-A, tretinoin, adapalene) or strong exfoliating products (stop use 5-7 days before waxing)
- Recent cosmetic procedures: chemical peels, laser treatments, microdermabrasion, Botox, or fillers (wait at least 2 weeks)
- Blood-thinning medications (warfarin, aspirin, etc.) – consult your doctor first
- Diabetes (may have slower healing and increased sensitivity – consult your doctor)
- Immune system disorders or compromised immune function

Pregnancy
Pregnant clients may receive waxing services, but should be aware that skin may be more sensitive due to hormonal changes. We recommend consulting your doctor or midwife before booking, especially in the first trimester.

- Wait at least 2 weeks between waxing sessions for the same area
Right to Refuse Service
We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue waxing services if we believe the treatment could cause harm, discomfort, or adverse reactions to the client. No refund will be provided in such cases.
If you are unsure whether you have any contraindications, please contact us before booking or consult your doctor.
6. Liability & Disclaimer
Normal Reactions
Waxing may cause temporary side effects, which are normal and typically resolve within 24-48 hours:
- Redness and sensitivity in the treated area
- Minor swelling or bumps
- Slight tenderness
Potential Risks
While we take every precaution to minimize risks, waxing may occasionally result in:
- Skin irritation or allergic reactions (especially if contraindications are not disclosed)
- Ingrown hairs (can be minimized with proper aftercare)
- Minor bruising or skin lifting (more common with sensitive skin or certain medications)
- Breakage of hair rather than removal from the root (if hair is too short or technique issues)
Limitation of Liability
We are not liable for adverse reactions, complications, or unsatisfactory results if:
- The client failed to disclose medical conditions, medications, allergies, or contraindications
- The client did not follow pre-wax or aftercare instructions
- The client has an unpredictable allergic reaction to products used (patch tests are available upon request)
- The client engages in activities that are advised against in aftercare instructions
Our Commitment
We use high-quality, professional-grade wax and maintain strict hygiene standards, including:
- Disposable sheets and medical drapes for every client
- New gloves for every client
- Single-use applicators (no double-dipping)
- Sterilized tools and equipment
- Clean, sanitized treatment rooms
If you experience any unusual or prolonged reactions (signs of infection, excessive swelling, severe pain), please contact us immediately and seek medical attention if necessary.
7. Aftercare Instructions
Proper aftercare is essential to achieve the best results and minimize irritation or ingrown hairs.
First 24-48 Hours After Waxing
AVOID:
- Hot showers, baths, saunas, steam rooms, or hot tubs
- Tight clothing that may rub or irritate the waxed area
- Exercise, gym, or activities that cause excessive sweating
- Swimming pools (chlorine can irritate freshly waxed skin)
- Sun exposure, tanning beds, or self-tanning products
- Sexual activity (for intimate waxing)
- Applying perfumed lotions, deodorants, or harsh products to the waxed area
DO:
- Keep the area clean and dry
- Wear loose, breathable clothing
- Apply a soothing, fragrance-free moisturizer or aloe vera gel if needed
Ongoing Aftercare (After 48 Hours)
- Exfoliate the waxed area 2-3 times per week to prevent ingrown hairs (use a gentle scrub or exfoliating mitt)
- Moisturize daily with a fragrance-free lotion or oil
- Do not shave between waxing appointments (this disrupts the hair growth cycle)
- Rebook your next appointment every 4-6 weeks for best results
When to Contact Us
Contact us immediately if you experience:
- Signs of infection (pus, excessive redness, warmth, or swelling that worsens after 48 hours)
- Severe or prolonged pain
- Allergic reaction (hives, difficulty breathing, severe itching)
We are here to support you and ensure the best possible experience.
